Hajab with hadish
Hijab is a term used to describe a head covering worn by some Muslim women. The concept of Hijab has been mentioned in several Hadiths, which are the recorded sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

One of the most well-known Hadiths about Hijab is the following:
"Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: 'Aisha used to say: 'When (the Verse): 'They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms,' was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces.'" (Sahih al-Bukhari 4481)
This Hadith describes how the women of the early Muslim community, including the Prophet's wives, would cover their faces with the cut pieces of their waist sheets as a form of Hijab.
Another Hadith about Hijab states:
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'O Asma, when a woman reaches puberty, nothing should be seen of her except for this and this' - and he pointed to his face and hands." (Sunan Abu Dawud 4104)
This Hadith emphasizes the importance of covering one's body and recommends that Muslim women should only show their face and hands in public.
The concept of Hijab in Islam is not just about physical clothing, but also about modesty and humility in behavior and conduct. Muslim women who choose to wear the Hijab do so as an act of devotion to God and to show respect for their own bodies and dignity.
In summary, the concept of Hijab is deeply rooted in Islamic teachings and is supported by several Hadiths. Muslim women who choose to wear the Hijab do so as an expression of their faith and devotion to God.
Umm Salamah reported: While we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, Ibn Maktum was given permission to enter. He entered and that was after the command to veil. The Prophet said, “Veil yourselves from him.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, is he not blind? He cannot see or recognize us.” The Prophet said, “Are you blind such that you cannot see him?”
